The factory charge handle is designed with low profile and snag free as criteria. The Extended option provides more finger clearance for those using wider optic mounts or desiring more purchase area. The handle is specifically for the Extar EP9 pistol, and designed to allow for the additional leverage imparted by a longer handle without stress or damage to the upper receiver.
The product will not fit the EP45 or EP9 Carbine.
